The Strength and Conditioning Director at UC Santa Barbara since 2005, Bob Alejo has nearly 25 years of unmatched experience training athletes. In years prior Bob was the conditioning coach for the Oakland Athletics from 1993-2001 and from 1984-1993 trained and supervised 23 men's' & women's' teams at UCLA. During that time the UCLA athletic program racked up 25 national championships and over 100 All-American selections.

Bob has also worked for U.S. Volleyball, a limited time with U.S. Soccer (1994 World Cup team), is a Level-I U.S. Weightlifting Federation coach as well as authoring numerous articles and contributing to or authoring books, the most recent being Complete Conditioning for Soccer and the soon to be published Double Play: Nutrition and Training for Baseball.

A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certification Commission, Coach Alejo is also a member of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
